P90x

About 7 years after everyone else, I'm starting my first blog. My primary motivation for this blog is to capture my journey to getting in shape, but I'm sure other disconnected thoughts will work their way in. Starting tomorrow, office-ass Tanner will be on his way out. I have heard good things about P90x from fitness-types as well as non-fitness types. In any case, it'll be the first formal fitness program I've ever attempted. I've been telling folks that my focus is simply to feel better. I'm not trying to lose weight or anything like that - in fact, I'll probably gain some weight. If I can sleep in late in the morning (as rare as that is these days) and not wake up with a stiff neck or sore back, I will be successful. My friend Ty Perkins and I are going to do this at the same time and try to hold each other to it, so we'll see how it works out. We agree that the hardest part will be the nutrition plan. For the first 30 days, it's going to be little-to-no carbs and anyone that knows me knows that carbs are my main source of food. Ok - I have to go take Q for a walk to burn some energy.
